To support our multigenerational workforce, our employee resource groups (ERGs) play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment. These groups provide a platform for employees to connect, share experiences, and support one another across generations.
Our Encore ERG has a mission to assist late-career nVent employees by providing a forum for learning, support, and continued personal growth while embracing the experience, skills, and wisdom they have acquired. Simultaneously, they work hard to unite all generations.
This year they have held multiple events to educate our teammates about ageism awareness. An important component of this is recognizing that bias can come from both ends of the spectrum, those younger and older. To address this, the ERG encourages others to celebrate age diversity and recognize the benefits over the differences.
